A Mexican party theme is celebrated mainly on public holidays in Mexico and the western USA. It is an opportunity to sing, dance, drink and eat delicious Mexican food.

If you’re considering throwing a Mexican party theme then take a look at our Mexican party theme ideas below:

1. Cut out some sombrero hat shapes from cardboard for your invitations. You could also buy miniature sombreros to send your invites out on.

2. The ladies should try and get a lovely Mexican peasant dress. They come with all sorts of accompaniments such as a headpiece and lei necklace.

3. The guys get to wear a serape and Mexican poncho. Also don\’t miss out on a sombrero hat. Consider extras such as pistols in a holster. As an alternative, you could dress up as Zorro!

4. Get some large Mexican flags for the walls. Also get plenty of small flags for the tables and anywhere else you can stick them!

5. You should get plenty of balloons in green, red and white to represent the three colors of the Mexican flag. Tie them up in bows, one from each color and place a bow in as many different locations as you can!

6. Create a centre piece on a large table. Place the food on this table along with sombrero hats and chili\’s scattered around.

7. Get plenty of tortillas and tacos! Have a large selection of beef and chili dishes for your guests to pick and choose from!

8. The drinks of choice at your Mexican party theme are of course Tequila and Corona and lime. Make sure you get plenty in!

9. The best music to play at a Mexican party is Samba music. This will encourage the dancing to happen!

I hope you have seen some interesting ideas for your Mexican Party Theme that you can use for your event. I also have a lot more Mexican Party Theme suggestions to make your party unique and special for you and your guests. Enjoy!
